The work of the Malealea partnership is multifaceted spanning education, health and environmental stewardship - but at the very heart of this work are people!

This partnership is very much at grassroots level - it links communities 5000 miles apart with a remarkable sense of fraternity - or as our friends in Lesotho say "Khokanyana - Phiri". "A group of people coming together to achieve a common goal"

Work is currently underway to make an Expedition in 2009 viable. Fundraising activities are planned throughout the summer & autumn of 2008 to raise enough finance to make a visit to Lesotho possible in April of 2009.

A sixty strong expedition is planned to undertake a wide variety of environmental, educational and health related projects alongside our Basotho counterparts in the remarkable community of Malealea in Western Lesotho.
